The Italian Companies and Exchange Commission (CONSOB) has issued another warning to 2139 Exchange, a fraudulent broker recently complained by a number of traders.
In the scam alert updated on November 21, CONSOB issued the latest warning against 2139 Exchange, previously warned as “an entity not authorized to provide investment services” by the watchdog.
According to the regulator, 2139 Exchange's new website “https://2139q.com” has been ordered to be shut down in Italy for illegally providing financial services.
CONSOB said, “The black-out of these websites by Internet service providers operating on Italian territory is ongoing. For technical reasons, it can take several days for the black-out to come into effect.”
In October of this year, CONSOB also warned four other sites used by 2139 Exchange to provide its services.
As of now, CONSOB has warned ten websites related to this broker.
In addition, the aother forex broker, Wellvest (www.wellvest.pro) was also warned at the same day.
