  • 2024-04-24 BrokersView exposes a clone firm NeroFX

According to its website, it states that it is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Upon investigation, we found that the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) issued a warning against NeroFX, identifying this company as a clone of an FCA-authorized firm.

The truth is that NeroFX is not regulated by any regulators. Letting this broker hold or control investors' money is unsafe, and the money can not be protected by any laws.

    Therefore, NeroFX is a scam.

NeroFX claims on its website that they are registered with Australian Securities & Investment Company and Australian Department of Industry, Innovation and Science. The company is charging investors exorbitant and undisclosed fees. The company increased fees on withdraws without properly informing investors on their website. When there are inadequate safeguards to protect consumers and investors, companies like NeroFX that is able to take advantage of its investors. I am almost certain that NeroFX is defrauding a lot of investors out of thousands of dollars with its deceptive marketing and due to a lack of effective regulation. This is yet another example of why the cryptocurrency industry needs to be better regulated, just like any other financial institution where investors put their hard-earned money. Every investor deserves to be confident that their investments are protected with commonsense regulations and real oversight.I am in United States and was referred to this company by a friend. I invested nearly $14,000 with the company. I was only able to withdraw on 3 different occasions for less than $2000 since December 2023. When I tried to do another withdraw, I was told that I over the limit and had to wait until my contract was up 05/2024. After the contract was up, I was then told that I need to pay a 7% fee If I need to make a withdraw. I sent the 7% fee, but the company claimed they did not receive all of it which Crypto.com they did send it all. They then said that I was short, by almost $100. I requested for them to cancel the withdraw so I can send the right amount, but they said I am supposed to abide by what I said. It's important to note none of that information discloses on the company website. The company has no disclosure about their accounting policies and principles, and their crypto assets and the method of applying them.

NeroFX has gained notoriety among customers for its poor customer service and lack of quality control. Scam brokers tend to have an abundance of negative reviews and complaints across the internet. They may offer unrealistic returns, fail to make promised payments, have poor customer service, or even be unlicensed or operating illegally. Any investor needs to conduct due diligence before investing to ensure they are dealing with a legitimate broker. Researching online NeroFX reviews can help investors avoid becoming a victim of NeroFX fraud.
