WBroker claims that it is part of the Waton Group that holds an ASIC broker license (No.: AFS001299580) in Australia and a FSPR broker license (No.: FSP546286) in New Zealand. However, our search for these two licenses reveals that the numbers belong to a company called Wealth Guardian Investment Limited, which the New Zealand Financial Markets Authority (NZ FMA) said in a warning has no association with WBroker. Therefore, WBroker is using details of another legitimate company to fool investors.
Furthermore, both NZ FMA and Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (HK SFC) have issued a warning against WBroker for illegally offering financial services/products.
In essence, WBroker is not regulated by any governing body. Entrusting this broker with investors' funds is highly risky, as there are no legal protections in place to safeguard the funds. It is unequivocally a scam.
