Recently, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK warned against a case of funds recovery scam that posed as an FCA-exempt professional firm.
According to the scam's website, the FCA-warned website named 'Financial Services Investigation Agency (FSIA).' It presents the slogan 'Get your money back with FSIA - Financial Services Investigation Agency' and some logos with the keywords 'crypto'. It promises services that help victims recover losses from investment scams, romance scams, and other scams.
It is also worth mentioning that the logo of this fund recovery scam is highly similar to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

As for the method of 'recovering funds,' FSIA said the firm would confront the relevant entities that facilitated scams. Most investment scams and almost all pig-butchering scammers disappear after victims realize they have been scammed, let alone the opportunity to confront them.
Most importantly, the scammer claims to be regulated by the FCA under the company name RECOVERY ASSIST LLP, which is denied by the regulator through the newly issued warning on August 2.
