On November 14th, the Cyprus Securities and Investment Commission (CySEC) issued a notice to announce the withdrawal of CFD broker AMP Global Ltd's membership of the Investor Compensation Fund (ICF).
Last month, the regulator announced that AMP Global had voluntarily relinquished its Cypriot investment company license (No. 360/18).
AMP Global issued a notice via its website stating: “The Company will no longer accept any new clients and/or the opening of any new accounts while it has terminated all its existing clients and informed them about the procedure that should be followed for their funds return and filing any complaints.”
AMP Global also held a financial license from the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), which was canceled in April 2022.
Currently, the forex and CFDs broker does not display any other forex licenses.
In addition to this, the ICF membership was also withdrawn from Citium Wealth (CY) Ltd, a company whose license was also revoked by the Cyprus financial regulator.
