Andrew Bresler Rejoins Saxo Bank as UK CEO

Saxo Capital Markets UK Ltd (Saxo UK), the London-based and FCA-regulated unit of Saxo Bank, the Copenhagen-based online trading and investment specialist, has appointed Andrew Bresler as CEO, effective from June 3, 2024.

Andrews will take over as CEO from interim CEO Simon Camilleri, the current COO of Saxo UK. Simon Camilleri started in the role following the departure of Saxo UK CEO Charles White-Thomson in February.

According to his profile on LinkedIn, Andrew served as Director, Sales Trading APAC of Saxo Markets Asia Pacific from 2016 to 2018. He then moved to Citi as Regional Head - Brokerage, Portfolio Finance & Digital Investments - APAC & EMEA.

Most recently, he served InvestCloud, a digital commerce platform provider, initially as Head of South East Asia and Head of Sales for APAC, before being promoted to Chief Revenue Officer and Deputy General Manager for APAC.

The appointment comes after Saxo Bank promoted Casper Andreas Solbakken to Global Head of Commercial Offering & Experience.
