Another Trick of Al Ramz General Trading! An Investor Kicked Out for Refusing to Upgrade Her Investment Plan

2023-05-29 BrokersView

Is it possible to come across a famous trader in a strange group chat and to be helped to invest? Does such a "good" thing really exist?

In Malaysia, there are many financial scams hidden in "investment group chats," such as the Malaysia-based fraudulent broker Al Ramz General Trading (also known as AL.Invset Group, Syarikat Al Ramz Investment, and Alinvest Group)exposed by BrokerView last week.

More users are sending evidence to prove they are being scammed by Al Ramz General Trading, following last week's exposure.

One investor told us she was somehow invited into a Telegram investment group. In this group chat, she saw people showing off screenshots of their investment profits, which made her want to invest.

She found a person who claimed to be a well-known Malaysian trader, Tuan Khalid Hamid. So she contacted the trader and said she wanted some investment advice. The trader was "kind" to help her to make money.

The person recommended a sure-profited investment plan on Al Ramz General Trading, which claimed a return of more than 14 times! And the more one invest, the more one gets, up to 20 times!

With a "famous trader" trading on her behalf and such high returns, it sounded like a great opportunity that should not be missed. So, the investor transferred RM500 to the designated bank account.

After a few transactions, the "trader" sent a notice stating that the investment plan chosen by the client had reached the quota limit and that if she wanted to continue, she had to pay an additional fee of RM1,000 to upgrade.

The client was unhappy with this backtracking and felt it was strange to be asked to pay a fee on short notice. So she refused to upgrade and asked the trader to return the RM500 invested.

Unexpectedly, the trader kicked her out of the group chat right away!

There is another investor who also encountered unreasonable fee payment request at Al Ramz General Trading. The trader sent a letter stating that the user had to pay a fee of RM2,610 for the company to process her investment.

BrokersView reminds you

Al Ramz General Trading is an illegal investment company that is not only unlicensed but has been warned by the Malaysian SC for conducting unauthorized business activities.

This group of scammers is active on social media and uses other trading names for their scams, such as AL.Invset Group, Syarikat Al Ramz Investment and Alinvest Group.

Investors should be extremely cautious when encountering unknown "investment groups" and not trust Al Ramz General Trading's claims of "easy-money-making" investment opportunities
