Capital Index Promotes Trevor Barwell to Managing Director

Capital Index, a CFDs and financial spread betting broker, has promoted Trevor Barwell to the position of Managing Director.

As seen on his LinkedIn profile, Trevor was Trading Operations Director at Capital Index before he was promoted to the current position. Prior to Capital Index, he worked as Product Head-MetaTrader at ETX Capital. Before that, he served in the Middle Office at Sucden Financial. Additionally, he had also held roles at State Street and Rothschild & Co.

In the middle of July, Matthew Wright has resigned from his position of CEO after spending more than 3 years with Capital Index. Additionally, the broker brought back former CEO Rob Woolfe as a non executive Director.
