The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has issued a new warning targeting nine websites that operate without the necessary authorization to provide investment services or engage in investment activities. Surgirux has been flagged again following its inclusion in CySEC’s January warning.
As reported by BrokersView in February, investors were ensnared by Surgirux’s fraudulent activities, and the broker’s website became inaccessible. A trader reported being unable to withdraw funds and being ignored by customer support. He later also received a fraudulent tax notice.
CySEC again highlighted Surgirux in its warning, raising concerns that the broker may continue to defraud unsuspecting investors.
