Doo Prime: What Do Consumers Say about it?

Despite already knowing that a broker is regulated and has a good reputation, most investors should still want to learn more about the user experience it offers. At this point in time, user reviews play a crucial role in providing potential investors with insights into a broker's performance and customer service. 

In this article, we analyze and summarize users' reviews about Doo Prime to offer investors a better understanding of the company's strengths and areas for improvement.

About Doo Prime

Doo Prime was established in HongKong in 2014, offering different types of accounts based on investors' experience and needs, including STP, ECN accounts. Doo Prime, which is regulated by several regulators including the FCA, has operation centers in Dallas, Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur and other places.  

Our search has revealed that the majority of user reviews for Doo Prime are positive, but the broker has still received some negative reviews. Let's take a look at these reviews specifically based on different rating levels.

What do the positive reviews say?

After reading almost all the positive reviews, we can roughly categorize them into three groups: great customer support service; smooth trading experience; user-friendliness and reliability.

From the reviews below, we can see that quite a few users have praised the company's customer support team for being friendly and helpful in addressing their problems. Several users, including an introducing broker(IB), stated that the broker's account managers give responses swiftly.

Next, let's see what users said about trading experiences including transaction speed, topping up and cash outing, spreads and others. Most of the users who gave positive feedback affirmed the fast deposit and withdrawal processing and transaction speed, lower spreads and fees. Besides, one user praised the various methods to deposit and withdraw.

On the other hand, several early users including an amateur investor shared that Doo Prime is user-friendly and easy for beginners to get started, and two others said they felt safe and reliable trading on the platform.

Suggested improvements by users

We didn't find too many neutral reviews for Doo Prime due to its polarized user ratings. But two users have made suggestions to the broker for improvements to be made, one wants it to improve its VI (Visual Identity) and the other wants it to launch MT5. 

We see these two comments left in April 2022, Doo Prime has already supported MT5 according to our observation.We don't know if the VI has improved, but Doo Prime replied to the user on the same day, saying that they will continue to improve the VI to bring a better user experience.

Poor feedback from users 

A few users who gave one-star reviews expressed how bad the company is, but we don't know what exactly. Some mentioned the Glazer family, perhaps in connection with the announcement in January that Doo Group had officially become the official global partner of Manchester United F.C..

On top of that, several users shared explicitly bad experiences related to withdrawals and refunds, which seems to be a bit serious. 

A user from the United States named Thomas Hawkins wrote that he was deceived by an account manager at Doo Prime named Anna. He said that he asked for a withdrawal, but the company made all sorts of excuses and two days later he logged into his account to find that his balance was gone. He also said the company did not respond to emails, which goes against what most users said about fast response.

In addition, one user said he received a refund following a complaint, while another said he was able to recover his withheld funds with the help of the company's executives.

Although only a few users reflected on these problems, issues related to investor funds should be taken seriously. Judging from Doo Prime's response, it just made a simple apology and did not offer solutions. And with most of the bad reviews being posted recently, we'd like to see Doo Prime come out with clear solutions soon.
