The leading pan-European exchange Euronext published its financial results for the fourth quarter of 2023 and the full year of 2023 on February 15, 2024.
The company’s full-year 2023 revenue and income stood at €1,474.7 million, up 3.9% compared to 2022’s figure. Non-volume-related revenue accounted for 60% of total revenue and income, including revenue of €109.9 million from technology solutions, advanced data services revenue of €224.8 million, and clearing revenue of €121.3 million.
Trading revenue for 2023 was €490.0 million, of which FX trading revenue stood at €25.6 million, decreasing by 10% compared to a record performance in 2022. The decrease reflects the lower volatility in the first three quarters of the year and the negative FX impact.
In Q4 2023, Euronext’s revenue and income amounted to €374.1 million, up 7.8% compared to Q4 2022. FX trading revenue was stable at €6.7 million in Q4 2023 as higher volumes were offset by FX impact.
