IG Group Secures Lisa Pollina As Non-Executive Director

Fazzaco learned that British spread betting and CFD company IG Group has appointed Lisa Pollina as a Non-Executive Director.

As seen on her Linkedin profile, Pollina currently serves as Investment Adviser at Ares Management Corporation from 2017. Before this role, Pollina previously worked at RBC Capital Markets as Vice Chairman. Over the course of her career, Pollina held different positions in multiple companies including DTCC, Bank of America and so on. In addition, she also served as Senior Advisor to the CEO for RBC, where she spent for 2 years.

Earlier this year, the broker has published its half-yearly financial results, ending on 30 November 2020, showing an increase across all major metrics, including revenue and profit. Moreover, it also announced the decision to increase margin requirements​ for existing positions on cryptocurrencies to 100%.
