IG Group's CEO for Asia Pacific and Africa Departs

After spending over a decade at IG Group, a global online trading company offering CFDs and Forex, Kevin Algeo has left the company.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Kevin held the role of CEO for APAC & Africa for more than five years before resigning from IG. He was tasked with the Group’s strategy in APAC and Africa, as well as overseeing the offices located in the region. 

Previously, Kevin served as CEO for Australia and New Zealand, where he was primarily responsible for building strong relationships with local regulators and business partners to support the sustainable growth of IG's business in the region.

Kevin initially joined IG in 2023, serving as Managing Director of the company’s South African business. Prior to that, he worked at Imara Group, a full-service stockbroker and asset manager in South Africa.

Kevin holds a Master's in Finance through the School of Oriental & African Studies at the University of London, as well as post-graduate degrees in Politics and Economics.

Last month, IG Group promoted Eren Eraslan to Head of Northern Europe at IG Europe GmbH.
