Imposters Claim to be Regulated Broker and Offer Financial Services to New Zealanders

On September 6, the New Zealand Financial Markets Authority (NZ FMA) warned of fake websites posing as a legitimate financial firm, reminding the public to take care of their property.

According to the regulator, the imposter falsely claimed to be affiliated with NZ financial firm Black Bull Group Limited (branded as Blackbull Markets), posing a threat to traders.

The FMA has published websites for the public to be wary of. These websites misuse Blackbull Markets' registration information in New Zealand but have been confirmed by the legitimate company that they do not operate it.
