Intertrader Appoints Citigroup Veterans to Event-Driven Sales Positions

Olivetree, the institutional arm of spread betting & CFDs broker Intertrader, has appointed Citigroup veterans to its team, with David Lackenby as Head of Event-Driven Sales Trading and Mark Brodie as Event-Driven Sales Trader.

Lackenby has extensive experience working at Cantor Fitzgerald and Market Securities. Brodie has extensive expertise in event-driven dynamics, having worked at Bear Sterns, Jefferies, and BTIG.

Olivetree specializes in event-driven investments, an area that provides market insights. The company is looking to enhance its insights and event-driven investment strategies with the new appointments. Lackenby's and Brodie's tenure began on November 13th, 2023.

In March, Intertrader appointed Joe Rundle as CEO, an industry professional with more than a decade of experience in the FX industry. He assumed the role after a successful stint as Capital.com's Chief of Staff.

In January, Intertrader promoted Louisa Plaice to Head of Public Affairs, expanding her portfolio from her previous role as Head of Marketing.
