
The Italian Companies and Exchange Commission (CONSOB) warned unregulated financial service platforms, including several Forex brokers, on March 27, 2025.
The CONSOB recommended vigilance against these new abusive financial services providers and ordered the black-out of related websites and pages that offer financial services illegally.

The number of entities blacked out since July 2019, when Consob got the power to order that the websites of fraudulent financial intermediaries be blacked out, has thus risen to 1268.
Consob emphasizes the critical importance of exercising utmost diligence to make well-informed investment decisions and protect one's savings. This includes adopting prudent and sensible practices, such as verifying in advance that financial service websites are operated by authorized entities and ensuring that a prospectus has been published for any financial product offering.
