Prop Firm Equity Edge Has Issue with MT5 and to Migrates to MatchTrade

UK-based proprietary trading firm Equity Edge announced on Monday that it is unable to access the MetaTrader 5 trading platform, resulting in trading suspensions.

Equity Edge did not disclose what happened between the company and "Platform 5".

Moe Trades, a member of the Equity Edge team, posted a video via X, saying: "We just experienced complications with the broker server within our platform, so all trading is halted today. Please rest assured. We are working on a fix as we speak, and we’re going to bring back our platforms as soon as we can."

Just hours later, the proprietary trading firm announced that the partnership with MatchTrade. Equity Edge said that all accounts would be migrated to MatchTrade on Wednesday. Additionally, all payments and accounts purchased would also be processed on Wednesday. As "goodwill", Equity Edge promised to give a gift to every affected trader.

At the same time, Equity Edge said it will bring a "big announcement" next Wednesday that will "change the dynamic of business permanently".
