unraveling SINEGY MALAYSIA

Fake investment opportunity fraud is commonplace on social media platforms, particularly WhatsApp and Telegram. Fraudsters use these instant messengers to launch fraudulent campaigns to lure potential victims into investment schemes that appear to offer high returns.

Fraudsters usually create fictitious investment companies on Telegram, but they often don't have real trading websites, only fake and exaggerated trading packages. Unwitting and unsuspecting traders are often lured by scammers' promises of quick riches and huge returns but end up falling into their traps.

A few days ago, BrokersView received a complaint from a customer who was scammed by just such a fraudulent scheme, a fake trading platform under the name of SINEGY MALAYSIA. if you see this name on platforms such as Telegram, please be cautious.

The client was added to the SINEGY MALAYSIA scam group by an anonymous administrator and then became interested in joining its investment program after being attracted by the trading profits shared by other fake traders (scammer accomplices) in the group.

The scammer explained their trading package to the client, so she decided to invest RM5,000 to trade. SINEGY MALAYSIA's investment plan shows that the minimum deposit is RM500, which will yield a profit of RM10,000, and the RM5,000 invested by the client will supposedly bring in RM150,000, while only having to deposit RM15,000 to make a profit of up to RM600,000, simply incredible.

A few hours later, the scammer showed the customer that her trading account had made a profit of RM150,000. However, to get this amount, the client needs to make several payments, which is a common tactic in fraudulent schemes. So, the customer immediately realized that she had been scammed.

BrokersView Reminds You

SINEGY MALAYSIA used a name and logo almost identical to that of a digital asset exchange regulated by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC), suspected of impersonating a legitimate platform for fraudulent purposes. BrokersView has verified with the Malaysian cryptocurrency exchange, SINEGY, that the Telegram group is not their channel. Do not engage in any trades in this fraudulent group!

Telegram is full of individuals and platforms using false identities and credentials, and investors need to remember to double-check the authenticity of the individuals or platforms with which they are interacting.

Being vigilant at all times is a necessary thing, not trusting investment opportunities offered by strangers, always thinking rationally, and avoiding excessive pursuit of high returns.
