Scope Markets, which provides institutional and retail trading services to clients worldwide, announced on Monday the launch of a new account type, Scope Invest, which is an non-leveraged CFD trading account, relatively rare found in CFD brokers.
According to the account details presented on the Scope Markets website, the leverage of Scope Invest is set at 1:1, i.e. no leverage. The account is available on the MT5 and can be used for CFD trading on fractional stocks, with a minimum deposit of $50 and offers USD, EUR, GBP and AED. The broker does not charge commissions, but Scope Invest has an average spread from 0.1 pips.
With leveraged trading, traders have the opportunity to earn more for less, but the risks become greater with it. Financial regulators in many jurisdictions have strict limits on leverage, for example, the UK FCA only allows a maximum leverage of 1:10. However, leverage offered by offshore brokers may be much higher than that.
