This Address is Weird: Over 40 Fraudulent FX Brokers Share the Same 'Office'?

BrokersView found some "interesting" unauthorized entities on the list of fake forex brokers warned by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) last week. Not only do they share a very similar website design, they even use the same address. But most importantly, they are all illegal.

The FCA warned last week about eight highly similar brokers named AssetsGrowths, Coincredictors, LexoTrade, Ultimateminnerfx, Billionfundzfx, LennoxTraders, Bitlyco, and Fexoglobal. Fexoglobal. The layouts of the broker's websites are highly similar, with only slight differences in logos, banner images, and colors.

Five of them also share the same "CH number". However, after searching the official website of the UK Companies House (CH), we found that these brokers are not legally registered in the UK, as none of the CH numbers they claim to hold are true.

Please note that the financial regulator in the UK is the FCA, not the CH, and firms holding only CH registrations cannot be considered regulated financial firms. Financial service providers in the country must be registered with and regulated by the FCA.

Most importantly, these entities claim to have the same address, and all state that their offices are located at "64 Thornton St, Hursley, UNITED KINGDOM, SO21 1NS". Since no matching locations can be found in maps, it is probably not a real place.

Furthermore, it's not only the eight brokers mentioned in this article, but a larger number of fraudulent brokers are using this address. Since 2023, 44 fraudulent entities among the unauthorized companies warned by the FCA have all claimed to have offices at this address - sounds crowded.

Although many of these entities have closed the warned websites, it doesn't mean the fraudsters have disappeared. The next "64 Thornton Street" broker in the market may be the new identity of these scammers.

Investors should be vigilant and avoid these unregulated fraudulent Forex brokers. Once the money is put in the hands of fraudsters, no one can trace the criminals by a fake address.
