TopFX Names Muhammad Asim as Head of Global Sales

TopFX, a retail and institutional FX broker based in Cyprus, has named Muhammad Asim as its Head of Global Sales.

Asim brings extensive sales experience to the company. In his new position, Asim will be responsible for the company’s business development, customer success, marketing and global sales.

As seen on his LinkedIn profile, Asim joins TopFX from Chicago-based fintech startup tastytrade, where he served as an equity options trader and focused on teaching and giving online presentations about stock options trading.

Prior to joining tastytrade, Asim served different roles for various organizations. He worked as a Business Development Specialist for Bactakleen in Malaysia. Additionally, he worked as a Regional Sales Manager for Pomelofx forex broker.

The appointment comes as the broker is working on expanding its reach in the international FX and CFD markets. Earlier, TopFX has opened a representative office in Dubai to cover Arabic speaking and MENA region and named Omar Al-Janabi as the company's Head of MENA.
