SM-INVEST claims to be a trading name of Scope Markets Ltd, a company incorporated under the laws of Belize and authorized by the International Financial Services Commission of Belize (IFSC) with license No. 000274/222 and 000274/221. We have checked the information provided on the broker's website and it looks legitimate. The broker's information about regulation can be found in the register of IFSC.

However, there is something about Belize need to be mentioned. As an offshore zone with a zero tax structure, Belize is a well-known Forex hub where a great many brokers come to seek an opportunity to be a legitimate firm, yet to skip complicated and costly established procedures. That means the brokers overseen by IFSC is not under as strong regulation as FCA, ASIC and NFA regulated brokers.
