The Kenya CMA regulates, authorises and monitors the business of market intermediaries, including securities trading, central storage and clearing systems and individuals under the authority of the Capital Markets Act. CMA plays a key role in promoting the mobility and allocation of capital resources.

To verify if a forex broker is licensed by the Kenya CMA, simply visit the official CMA website at https://www.cma.or.ke/. Once there, find the "Licensees/Market Players" section under the "Investor Protection" category and click on it.
You will be presented with various categories of licensees. Select the "NON-DEALING ONLINE FOREIGN EXCHANGE BROKER" to view the list of licensed brokers. If you're looking for a specific broker, use the search bar on the "List of Licensees" page to quickly find your target.
When you have disputes with a CMA-regulated broker, you can proceed the following ways:
