The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) is a federal UAE agency established based on Federal Decree No. (4) of 2000 by then-president of the UAE, Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Authority is a federal government agency, which is financially and administratively independent, headed by a CEO and a Chairman of a Board of Directors, both appointed by the President of the UAE. The main objective of the Authority is to supervise and monitor financial markets in the UAE, including the Dubai Financial Market and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.
In order to be regulated as a FOREX broker, brokers have to obtain "First category: Dealing in securities" License adding "Trading broker of OTC derivatives and currencies in the spot market (FOREX)" activity under that license.
Generally speaking, SCA-regulated broker profile will be found at the Brokers page on SCA website. Try to find it and check if it will match the info from the broker website.
The detailed steps are as below:
1. Find the name of the forex broker, which you can get from the broker's website;
2. Check if the broker's name is on the list: https://www.sca.gov.ae/en/open-data/brokers/broker-for-trading-non-exchange-traded-derivative-contracts-and-currencies-in-the-spot-market.aspx
