Older Versions of MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 to be End in December
On October 22, MetaQuotes announced that, as of December 1, it would stop providing and updating older versions of MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5.
At that time, the minimum supported versions of the trading platforms will be MetaTrader 4 build 1420 released on May 24 and MetaTrader 5 build 4410 released on June 21.
According to the announcement, MT4 and MT5 desktop terminals earlier than these versions will not be able to connect to broker servers, and users are advised to update in time.
Over the past six months, several updates for MetaTrader 5 has been released, introducing more features and tools while fixing bugs and improving performance. Meanwhile, MetaTrader 4 has also been improved, with crashes fixed and market security enhanced.
