The Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM) warned investors about a financial services platform called Psi-Markets on October 30, emphasizing that the brand's company, TBC International Markets Ltd, is not subject to Portuguese financial regulations and the regulator's oversight.
The Portuguese financial regulator updates the list of alerts regularly for investors and the general public.
According to Psi-Markets' website (psi-markets.com), the platform offers financial instruments such as indices, commodities, stocks, cryptocurrencies and currency pairs.
The regulator said that TBC International Markets Ltd. is not authorized to carry out any financial intermediation activities in Portugal. Investors are advised to double-check the list of authorized entities to confirm whether the trading service provider is authorized to legally carry out financial activities in the country.
At the same time, CMVM advised individuals and businesses dealing with the company to report the situation to the regulator.
