Swissquote Profits Exceed CHF 185 Million in 2022, in Line with its Expectations

Swissquote is a leading provider of online financial transaction services in Switzerland.

Swissquote recently released its annual trading report for the year ending December 31, 2022. The report states that the company's business performance during 2022 was in line with its expectations.

For the first half of 2022, Swissquote reported net revenues of CHF 200 million, compared to revenues of CHF 264.4 million for the same period of the previous year, a decrease of 24.4% year-on-year. Total operating income for the half-year amounted to CHF 204.8 million, down 23.1% year-on-year. Profit before tax, on the other hand, fell 32.7%.

The company's 2022 net income exceeded 400 million Swiss francs and pre-tax profit reached at least 185 million Swiss francs. The customer assets reached 52.2 billion Swiss francs.

According to the company, "The diversified sources of revenues and a higher share of non-transaction based revenues have enabled Swissquote to navigate safely in a difficult market environment."
