CVC Capital Partners Puts Oanda up for Sale
Online retail trading platform Oanda Global Corporation, acquired by the Amsterdam-listed buyout firm CVC Capital Partners in 2018, has been put up for sale by its private equity backers.
The company is being marketed by bankers at Nomura and Santander, but its valuation in a potential sale is unclear.
Founded in 1995, Oanda offers trading in foreign exchange, equities, commodities, and cryptocurrencies, and has become a prominent player in the sector. The company is expected to record revenues this year of about $175m (£138m).
Other financial investors are expected to consider offers for the company.
CVC has yet to comment on the matter.
