Former FTX executive Constance Wang, who spent nearly four years at FTX in significant roles including as COO, has reemerged at crypto venture firm Sino Global Capital, joining the company after maintaining a low profile since FTX collapsed, according to anonymous sources cited in a Bloomberg report.
As an important assistant to Sam Bankman Fried, former CEO of FTX, Wang also served as co-chief executive of FTX Digital Markets, the company’s Bahamas affiliate.
According to Wang’s LinkedIn profile, she was responsible for promoting the company's global user growth, partnerships, PR, marketing, institutional clients, and geographical expansion. Besides, she previously worked at Huobi Global and Credit Suisse.
Wang's move to Sino Global represents a fresh start for some former FTX executives, such as Amy Wu, who managed FTX Ventures, and has recently joined Menlo Ventures. However, others have been entangled in legal proceedings and in some cases plead guilty.
Sam Bankman-Fried himself has pleaded not guilty to a range of charges and is currently under house arrest, awaiting trial.
