Guru Capital to Acquire UK-based Fintech Oval

Fazzaco learned that Switzerland based fintech investment fund Guru Capital has reached an agreement to acquire substantially all the assets of Oval Money Ltd, a London, UK-based startup.

In addition, the company also said that it is negotiating the acquisition by an associated fund of 100% of the shares of Oval Money Ltd's Spanish regulated investment firm subsidiary, Oval Marketplace A.V., S.L.

According to the official press release, Ova will be acquired by and integrated into ETX Capital, acquired by Guru Capital in September 2020. The combination will help accelerate business growth and client engagement by supporting clients in setting smart rules for defining their savings habits and investment goals, making payments, and tracking spending as well as trading in the financial markets through a single mobile app.

As Fazzaco reported earlier, Guru Capital has completed the acquisition of ETX Cyprus​, Cyprus based Monecor Ltd after successfully acquiring UK based Monecor Ltd.
