Global online CFDs and Forex broker IG Group, which has recently seen the departures of several senior executives including Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Charlie Rozes, Chief Operating Officer (COO) Jon Noble, and Global Head of Marketing Partnerships Aneira Henery-Morley, announced new appointments for COO and Chief Risk Officer (CRO).
Over the weekend, the group revealed on LinkedIn that Jody Dunn and Sarah Gore Langton have been appointed as COO and CRO, respectively, pending regulatory approval.
Jody Dunn, currently Head of Risk at IG Group, will succeed Jon Noble as COO; Dunn has over 21 years of experience at the group and has an in-depth knowledge of the company's internal workflows and all aspects of its business. According to her LinkedIn profile, Dunn joined IG Group in September 2002 as a sales trader and has since held several roles including Head of Futures, Head of Dealing, Head of Trading Analytics, and Head of Market Risk. Dunn holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Finance from London Business School.
Sarah Gore Langton, Chief Compliance Officer, will serve as CRO for IG Group. Langton joined the firm in November 2015 from BlackRock as Compliance Manager for EMEA & UK. In September 2017, she was promoted to Chief Compliance Officer for the Group. Langton holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Cambridge.
