Mark Evans Appointed as Head of Corporate Development by IG Group

The industry-leading derivative trading service provider IG Group has appointed Mark Evans as Head of Corporate Development.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Mark has been working for IG for about eight years since he joined the group in July 2015 as a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. In 2017, he was promoted to Head of Consumer Insight & Strategy and was in charge of strategy, industry analysis, M&A, and consumer insight at the group.

Previously, he worked for several notable companies such as Barclay and BDO UK LLP. He held the role of Vice President at Barclaycard. He also worked at Barclays Bank as Group Centre Financial Manager. At the beginning of his career, he served as a Senior Business Adviser at BDO UK LLP for four years.
