Lark Funding, a proprietary trading firm, has announced that it will no longer accept new U.S. clients on its existing trading platform and plans to move its existing U.S. traders to the DXtrade.
The announcement comes on the heels of Lark Funding's broker partner ThinkMarkets' decision to stop opening its services to U.S. proprietary trading firm clients as of February 23rd. This decision had a direct impact on the prop firm.
Matt L., CEO of Lark Funding, stated on Discord, “Unfortunately we’re no longer accepting NEW purchases from US clients. All existing US clients can continue trading their accounts as per usual this week.”
“At the end of the month, existing US traders will be migrated to DXTrade. We’re working to finalize how the migration process will work but we’re doing our best to ensure that everything is done as smoothly as possible.”
He also emphasized that these measures will not affect clients outside the U.S., and that Lark Funding will reopen to U.S. clients if regulatory conditions allow.
This comes shortly after Instant Funding, another proprietary trading firm, was also affected by ThinkMarkets' new decision and chose DXTrade as its new broker partner.
