Rakuten Securities, a Japanese Forex, CFD and stock broker, announced on Wednesday that it will add 170 stocks listed on US, Chinese and Hong Kong stock exchanges to expand its offering of trading instruments.
According to the official press release, these new stocks will be available on January 24, 2022.
The newly added stocks include the multinational electronics and semiconductors manufacturer STMicroelectronics and the multi-crop and middle-market agricultural company S&W Seed Company.
Clients of Rakuten Securities will also be able to trade in the shares of microblogging website Weibo Corp. The broker will also start offering trading in stocks of Bank of Shanghai Co.
The broker has been regularly expanding its offering of trading instruments. Last month, it added nine new metal products, namely XAUEUR (Gold/Euro), XAUGBP (Gold/Sterling), XAUAUD (Gold/Australian Dollar), XAUCHF (Gold/Swiss Franc), XAUJPY (Gold/Yen), XAGEUR (Silver/Euro), XAGAUD (Silver/Australian Dollar), XPDUSD (Palladium), and XPTUSD (Platinum).
