Robert J. Van Eyden Joins Scope Markets South Africa as CEO

Robert J. Van Eyden, a prominent figure in the financial industry, has announced his appointment as CEO of Scope Markets South Africa, taking effect on February 1st. At the helm of Scope Markets, he is expected to drive the growth of online trading services.

Van Eyden has gained extensive experience working as CEO of IG South Africa previously. During his tenure, IG South Africa achieved success with record performance metrics, customer satisfaction, and market share.

In addition, Van Eyden is a member of the Board of Directors at the South African Institute of Financial Markets, contributing his expertise to the promotion of professionalism and integrity in the financial markets.

Earlier, Scope Markets strengthened its team in London with the appointment of David Andres Restrepo as Global Sales Director. Restrepo’s diverse experience from holding multiple roles, including Head of Global Sales at Eurotrader, Head Of Business Development LATAM at ActivTrades, and Financial Sales Executive at OvalX (formerly ETX Capital), positions him to contribute to Scope Markets' global sales initiatives and growth trajectory.
