The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) updated its Investor Alert List on August 8, 2024, with the BrokersView-warned CFD broker Ventezo being added.
According to the regulator, the firms and individuals on the warning list are unauthorized in providing investment services and products. The list serves as a guide for Malaysian investors when making investment decisions.
SC Warning
BrokersView found that Ventezo is an unregulated broker despite its claims to be registered in several jurisdictions.
The registration claimed by Ventezo on its website
Though Ventezo claimed to be registered under the National Futures Association (NFA) with ID number 0563580, the number does not exist in the NFA portal. It is also worth mentioning that Ventezo’s registration with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines can not be regarded as financial authorization, since SVG FSA is not a Forex or CFD regulator.

Additionally, investors have raised concerns about Ventezo. A client in the Philippines reported that a regional manager accessed his account and withdrew $851.38 without authorization.
His mother, who is also a client of Ventezo, submitted a withdrawal request. Despite the broker’s claim that the request had been completed, no funds were credited to her bank account.
For your financial safety, please be cautious about choosing Ventezo as your broker.
