In April 2024, we kicked off an exciting partnership with FC Barcelona as their Official Partner in Foreign Exchange. This dynamic collaboration, born from a shared vision of excellence, has delivered many unforgettable moments. We made our LED debut pitch-side during Barça’s victorious La Liga home game against Athletic Club in August and were recently honoured to join their momentous 125th anniversary celebration in Barcelona. Proud to stand with FC Barcelona not only as partners but also fans, we eagerly look forward to continuing our journey of unforgettable victories—on the field, in the markets, and across the world!

Nearly every minute, a child under five dies from malaria. In March 2024, we joined the UN Foundation’s United to Beat Malaria campaign, standing alongside global corporations, health experts, and advocates to eradicate the deadly disease and ensure more children can celebrate their fifth birthday. We helped raise funds and awareness throughout the year to accelerate a malaria-free future, through events like the United to Beat Malaria Leadership Summit, the flagship Move Against Malaria 5K charity run, and direct donations. The latest World Health Organization’s 2024 World Malaria Report highlights this shared impact: 2.2 billion cases and 12.7 million deaths have been prevented since 2000!

Embodying our passion to give back, local teams across India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, and other regions rolled up their sleeves to organise grassroots activities throughout 2024. In Taiwan, for example, employees supported recovery efforts for the devastating Hualien earthquake by facilitating essential supplies. Through these diverse efforts, we are proud to be catalysts for positive impact in the communities we are privileged to be a part of.

In a groundbreaking collaboration with renowned trader Joe DiNapoli inked in July 2024, EBC became the first CFD broker to offer DiNapoli indicators on our platform. This exclusive partnership took center stage at high-impact events in Bangkok and Taipei, where EBC and DiNapoli experts shared valuable strategies for navigating complex markets and anticipating black swan events.

2024 was a year of recognition for us. We were honoured with nine prestigious awards in total, including ‘Best Broker in the Asia Pacific’ at the Finance Magnates Annual Awards in August. Building on our commitment to provide a secure and transparent trading environment, EBC secured a full regulatory licence from CIMA in March and our second Australian Financial Services Licence (Asset Management) from ASIC in August. In addition to strengthening our credibility, these prestigious licences have empowered us to offer a broader range of sophisticated and tailored financial solutions to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

In 2024, we doubled the number of countries where our brand is trademarked, bringing the total to 11. Our recent trademarks in Chile and Peru reflect our strategic focus on key growth markets like Latin America. With more to come, we will continue to strengthen our brand to build long-term trust and recognition.

In November 2024, we once again teamed up with Oxford University’s Department of Economics for their ‘What Economists Really Do?’ (WERD) series. The first-ever WERD episode to feature a live panel discussion saw David Barrett, CEO of EBC Financial Group (UK) Ltd, join esteemed Oxford experts for an action-focused dialogue on “Sustaining Sustainability: Balancing Economic Growth and Climate Resilience.” EBC’s collaboration with the Department of Economics underscores our commitment to bridging financial markets with the world’s most pressing challenges and highlights our expanding presence in key conversations globally.

We introduced US Stock CFDs on our MT5 platform in December 2024, offering traders access to high-growth companies like NVIDIA, Apple, and Microsoft. This flexible and highly competitive addition to our product suite provides fresh opportunities for traders looking to diversify their portfolios amidst the strong performance of US stocks.
