Unlocking the Vast Variations in Liquidity Among Brokers: BV Assessment Explores the Gaps
Forex liquidity plays a pivotal role in influencing the speed and cost of executing trading orders. A key indicator that directly reflects a broker's liquidity is the frequency of quotes provided. Generally speaking, brokers with a higher number of quotes per minute tend to exhibit higher liquidity levels.
In this article, we will present the liquidity performance of 19 brokers for the previous month.
Liquidity Ranking on EURUSD
Average quoting frequency on EURUSD（times/minute）
NO.1: Alpari International and FXTM, with a quotation frequency in November of 135 times/minute and an average of over 2 quotations per second.
NO.2: ActivTrades, with an average of 84 quotes per minute last month.
NO.3: WeTrade and VT Markets, with a quotation frequency of 79 times/minute in November.
Among the 19 brokers, ThinkMarkets and EightCap exhibited the poorest liquidity performance on EUR/USD. With a quote frequency of only 34 times per minute, these platforms updated their quotes approximately once every 2 seconds.
Liquidity Ranking on GBPUSD

NO.1: Alpari International and FXTM, with a quotation frequency of 121 times per minute.
NO.2: Tickmill, with an average of 119 quotes per minute in November.
NO.3: Decode Global, with an average of 95 quotes per minute.
In the assessment based on GBP/USD, Avatrade and Exness showed poor liquidity performance among the brokers. Avatrade provided quotes 38 times per minute, while Exness offered quotes 40 times per minute.
Liquidity Ranking on XAUUSD

NO.1: Alpari International and FXTM, with an impressive quotation frequency of 243 times per minute, equivalent to more than 4 quotations per second.
NO.2: ActivTrades, with an average of 147 quotes per minute.
NO.3: ACY Securities, with an average of 129 quotes per minute.
When considering XAU/USD, ThinkMarkets is found to have the lowest liquidity among the evaluated platforms, with an average of only 28 quotes per minute last month.
Comprehensive Review:
Based on the provided data, it is evident that both Alpari International and FXTM platforms have exhibited high liquidity across various currency pairs. Additionally,
ActivTrades has also demonstrated commendable liquidity performance.
Among the three currency pairs evaluated, a majority of the 19 brokers displayed better liquidity performance in XAUUSD. It is noteworthy that 11 platforms had a quote frequency exceeding 100 times per minute in this particular pair.
